CAN FOR KIDS

WHAT IS CANNING?

Canning is an in-person fundraising effort where volunteers stand in highly populated outdoor areas to collect cash donations from passersby. It has become a long-standing campus tradition and remains one of the most recognizable and impactful ways students come together to raise money for a cause.

TCNJam will be hosting canning fundraisers to support the B+ Foundation, which helps families affected by childhood cancer. Fundraisers will be holding canning drives and displaying signs that explain what the foundation is and how we can help.

Once the calendar is finalized, team captains will receive the Google form and the calendar, and then send it to their team for sign-up. Please submit requests for dates to go canning at least 48 hours before the chosen date and time. However, if you notice an opening and would like to go last-minute, you can email halla6@tcnj.edu to see if there is availability. The team member who lists their phone number below will get a text within 24 hours of submitting the form with their canning location and a confirmation of the time and day they selected. A reminder text will be sent out on the day you and your team chose to go canning. If you have any questions prior, please text Fundraising ambassador, Audrey Hall at 201-320-5256. Thank you and happy canning!
