  • Do I have to sign up again if I did last year?

    Yes! Each year we create a new fundraising site so you’ll have to make a new page.

  • How do I access my fundraising link?

    Visit the TCNJam website linked in our bio and search your name. Once you click on your name your fundraising page will appear. Copy the link and save it for future use!

  • What if i’m not part of a team?

    You can sign up as an individual!

  • How do I fundraise once my page is made?

    We have five different icons that make fundraising easy. Click any of them once your page is created to send out texts or emails, and you can even post directly to Facebook, LinkedIn, or Twitter!

  • What if my team doesn’t have a page yet?

    Please email tcnjam@tcnj.edu so they can make sure your team gets a page ASAP!

  • Should I use my Personal email or my school one?

    We recommend using your personal email so you can stay connected as an alumni with TCNJam!

General FAQs

What is tcnjam?

TCNJam is The College of New Jersey’s Dance Marathon, benefiting The Andrew McDonough B+ Foundation. It’s a campus-wide fundraising and awareness event where students come together For The Kids (FTK) to support families affected by childhood cancer.

Where does the Money raised go?

All funds raised go directly to The Andrew McDonough B+ Foundation, which provides financial and emotional support to families of kids with cancer, and also funds cutting-edge childhood cancer research.

How can I get involved?

You can sign up to fundraise, join a committee, spread the word, or volunteer during the event. Every role helps make TCNJam successful!

When does tcnjam take place?

TCNJam is held annually in the spring semester. Leading up to the big event, we host fundraising opportunities, community events, and awareness campaigns.

Do I have to dance the whole time?

Nope! TCNJam is so much more than dancing. There are performances, games, activities, live entertainment, and opportunities to meet B+ Heroes and their families.

What if I can’t stay for the entire event?

While we encourage participants to stay as long as possible to experience everything, you can still make an impact by fundraising, attending part of the event, or volunteering your time.

What is a B+ Hero?

A B+ Hero is a child who is currently fighting or has fought childhood cancer. They’re the heart of our mission, and many of them become a special part of our TCNJam family.

How do i donate?

Donations can be made online through your fundraising page or directly to the TCNJam donation page. Every dollar helps support kids and families in need.

Why should i participate?

TCNJam is a chance to make a real difference in the lives of kids with cancer while creating unforgettable memories with your campus community. It’s about showing how much caring matters.
